In a working class neighbourhood in Tunis, Aich Tounsi activists wore yellow T-shirts reading "don't be scared, we're not a party" while distributing campaign flyers ahead of Tunisian parliamentary elections.
With the Kurdistan elections set to be held on the 30th of September, controversy regarding participation has risen among both the population and the parties. Some political parties have decided to boycott the elections after their concerns surrounding the election lists were not addressed.
The National Institute of Statistics, a government agency in Tunisia has revealed that the country's export to import rose to 72%. According to the Institute the deficit in trade amounted to at least $2.6 billion.
