Shut down in October 2014 due to clashes and militant presence, the famous Arab Market of the city of Benghazi has reopened. Traders here hope that the reopening will help provide jobs and rebuild lives across eastern Libya.
Despite the poor conditions that are prevalent in the city of Tawergha, in Libya many local residents are returning home following years of displacement. This comes after the peace agreement that Tawerghan officials made with officials from the town of Misrata.
The Civil Defence in Mosul have begun the second phase of clearing up the Old City from bodies trapped beneath the rubble. In the past two weeks the Civil Defence has been able to retrieve over 1673 bodies.
