The Lebanese city of Ashqout near the country's lavish Faraya village ski resorts, houses 42 Syrian refugees who fled Aleppo in 2014. According to refugees in the camp, the UNHCR has not provided them assistance in three years.
The Lebanese Army Command announced that two men involved in an inter-clan shootout in the Bekaa region on the 20th of June have been arrested. The shootout was between the Jaafar and al-Jamal clans occured near the Lebanese-Syrian border and resulted in the injuring of one person.
Lebanese and Syrian youth in the Bekaa, Lebanon have led an initiative to feed poor and needy Syrian refugees. This is the fourth year that the youth carry out this initiative despite receiving less funding.
