Normal life returns to areas of Mosul after liberation from ISIS

Residents in Mosul attempt to return to normal life after several neighborhoods are liberated by Iraqi Security Forces from ISIS control.

“Look at the cars and people present in the road,” said a secret service officer. “Two weeks ago, this area was under ISIS control and now you can see people driving cars. Look at the happy people…”

Another man recited poetry expressing the unity of Iraq: “I say, stay well, Oh our nation our people sing your name, with the Kurds, Shia and Sunnis, we remain brothers against sectarianism. We remain brothers against sectarianism.”

Meanwhile in Baghdad, Islamic scholars from across the Muslim world denounce ISIS and express their support for Iraqi Security Forces against the terrorist group.
