DEIR EZ-ZOR – Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, following assistance by the municipalities bodies of Al-Jazeera canton, began to rehabilitate the bridge that connects the town of al-Jazrat and al-Kuber in the eastern area of Deir ez-Zor.

IS mercenaries, during their presence in the area, blew up the bridges that connect the villages and towns in the area in order to impede the advance of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Deir ez-Zor Civil Council worked on rehabilitating the bridge in al-Jazrat town that is considered one of the most strategic and important bridges in the area, and is connected to the town of al-Kuber, and was completely destroyed by the mercenaries.

After receiving the necessary equipment and building materials from the Municipal Body in al-Jazeera canton, the council’s committees began to rehabilitate the bridge.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) provided building materials and mechanisms, in addition to financial support of 350 million Syrian Pounds to Deir ez-Zor Civil Council for the rehabilitation of services in the area.
