Turkish warplanes and artillery hit Kurdish military targets in northeast Syria on the third day of an offensive that has killed hundreds of people, forced tens of thousands to flee and turned Washington’s establishment against President Donald Trump.
On Monday, around 35 military vehicles accompanied by pro-Ankara rebels traveled south down the main highway near the town of Saraqib, towards the rebel-held province of Idlib. This comes a week after a deal was struck between Turkey and Russia in regards to a Syrian Government offensive against Idlib.
After attacking Syria's southern province of Sweida and killing over 250, ISIS kidnapped dozens of women and children from the villages they attacked. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that at least 36 Druze women and children were kidnapped.
Car bombing in Centeral Damascus kills 2 people and injures 14. The blasts have not been claimed yet, however regime media has blamed ISIS for the blasts. This comes after the regimes forces launched an operation to clear southern Damascus from ISIS militants.
Syrian rebel factions have clashed with local citizens in al-Bab in Northern Aleppo on Sunday. The clashes resulted in 7 dead and more than 50 injured. The al-Bab local council will be opening an investigation on the attack on the city by the FSA rebel factions.
