Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Al-Razzaz has asked ministers to submit their resignations in preparation for a cabinet reshuffle. Al-Razzaz said that the reshuffle aims to contribute toward efforts overcoming the challenges and achieving the priorities and plans of the government.
Omar Razzaz, the Prime Minister of Jordan, noted that his country has managed to maintain political and social stability over the course of successive crises in the Middle East but acknowledged that living standards and the economy suffered.
Jordan is on a mission to rejuvenate trade with its neighbour, Iraq, as regional competitors scramble for footholds in the country. However, Jordanian officials have voiced their concerns about competitiveness within the export sector.
