Despite an economic downturn and the freezing of Libyan state funds since 2011, investors in the country are attempting to find new avenues of opportunity across Africa by building bridges with other countries.
The "10 Organisation" has set up a psychosocial support program for school students in the city of Barakat in the southwestern district of Ghat in Libya. The organisation also brought a team of specialised doctors to to alleviate the residents' suffering.
After a week of fighting, the Libyan National Army (LNA) loyal to Khalifa Haftar say they have retaken As Sidra oil port and and airstrip at Ras Lanuf. This comes less than a week after the LNA launched an operation to retake the two port cities which were lost to militias.
The four Libyan leaders, Khalifa Haftar, Fayed al-Sarraj, Aguila Saleh Issa, and Khalid al-Mishri attended a conference in Paris in which they announced that they are all committed to holding elections in Libya on 10th of December, 2018.
