A joint United Nations-Syrian Arab Red Crescent mission has arrived at the Rukban camp, near the Jordanian border, where more than 10,000 people are living in dire conditions, to ask them if they want to go back to the government-held area of Homs province.
Humanitarian aid has finally reached the Rukban refugee camp, near the Jordanian-Syrian border after a year-long blockade. The UN envoy delivered food and medical supplies to the around 50,000 residents in the camp.
A group of displaced Syrians from Daraa have arrived in Idlib Monday morning after fleeing their areas due to the military operation that the Syrian Government Forces launched in mid-June. The UN estimated that over 271,000 people have fleed Daraa and Quneitra due to the offensive.
