On Wednesday, the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced that the Federal Police have arrested three ISIS members in Kirkuk and Salahuddin provinces. These ISIS arrests are part of a wider operation by the Iraqi Security Forces to rid the country from ISIS sleeper cells, dormant in throughout the provinces.
The Iraqi Council of Ministers has approved a regulation requiring that 50% of foreign oil company employees working in the country be Iraqis. This comes after mass demonstrations in Basra calling for improved public services and increased job opportunities.
