Egypt's Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait has announced that the country will begin implementing its largest public budget in history for the fiscal year 2018-2019. The new budget will coincide with the beginning of Abdul Fattah al Sisi's second term as President of Egypt.
More than 6,500 companies founded or co-founded by Syrians have been registered in Turkey since the 2011 start of Syrian civil war. Gaziantep alone has 1,250 companies owned by Syrians registered in their Chamber of Commerce as of 2018.
The underlying fear is that Eastern Ghouta, followed by opposition-controlled Idlib, will follow in the footsteps of Aleppo, write experts from the Syrian American Medical Society and the Syria Public Health Network.
